You might also be required to move furniture and other household items a long distance, that is, outside of Auckland in the North Island region.

A good furniture removal driver needs to take care of the company vehicle and also its contents. Skillset of a Professional Class 2 Furniture Removal Driver


Following are some of the requirements we are looking for in this job opening-


  • Someone with a class 2 drivers license and some amount of experience in driving a Luton van.
  • Someone with good communications skills who can provide a good experience to the client.
  • Good at locating addresses of the clients without having to navigate too much.
  • Some amount of prior experience in packing clients’ belongings, wrapping, and loading.
  • Someone who can take utmost care of the client’s furniture and ensures that nothing is damaged.
  • Some previous experience in furniture removal would be good although it is not a necessity.
  • It would be an added advantage if one is physically fit and strong.
  • Ability to work on their own initiative.
  • Good team member and a hard worker.


Job Requirements

 

You would be required to perform the following duties as a Class 2 Furniture Removal Driver-


  • Wear the specified Easy Move uniform and be well presented when you are onsite.
  • Have a charged phone throughout the day so that we can contact you for regular updates and any kind of task.
  • Move the furniture locally in the Auckland wide area, which would include Greenlane, The North Shore, Remuera, Henderson, and Ponsonby.
  • Move the furniture long distance to areas in and around the North Island, like Whangarei, New Plymouth, Wellington, and Tauranga. You would be required to cover Auckland to Hamilton, Auckland to Hibiscus Coast, and Auckland to Coromandel.
  • Properly pack the clients’ furniture and also unpack it at the property thereafter.
  • Take care of the client’s furniture during transit.


You would be required to load and unload the removal truck with the help of an offsider. In addition to this, you would also be required to clean the inside of the truck occasionally. For exterior cleaning, a cleaning service will be used on regular occasions.
