  4. Unloading and unpacking: After arriving at the destination, we unload your goods and put the right boxes in the right rooms. If needed, we can also disassemble and reassemble your furniture and bed. We can also disconnect your whiteware and install it at the new place.

We can only give you an estimate depending on the number of bedrooms you have in your house. For instance, if you have one bedroom, it takes about an hour. For two bedrooms, it takes two hours, and approximately three hours for three bedrooms. However, if you have three or more bedrooms, we recommend using 3 men to shorten the moving time.

The time taken will depend on the number of items you have and the number of men you use. However, for a standard household and good access with 2 men:

  • Loading 1 bedroom takes 1 hour, and unloading takes about 1 hour.
  • Loading 2 bedrooms take between 1 and 1.5 hours, and unloading takes about 1 hour.
  • Loading 3 bedrooms take 1.25 to 2 hours, and unloading takes 1 to 1.25 hours.
  • Loading 4 bedrooms take 2 to 2.5 hours, and unloading takes 1.5 to 2 hours.

We work all days of the week from 8 am to 8 pm.

Preparing to move

We recommend scheduling in advance as much as possible. If you can plan your move two or three weeks ahead, the greater availability you will have in choosing a convenient date and time. However, you must book at least 3 to 4 days prior to the move. We may be able to arrange last-minute jobs for the same day or the next day, but that will depend on our workload. We cannot guarantee the same.

Using a simple labeling system, such as “MBR” for Master Bedroom or KIT for the kitchen, can make it easy for us to identify which box goes where. Ensure that all boxes are clearly and correctly marked. Our movers work closely with you at the destination to ensure that every box ends up in the right room

Yes, you may leave your clothes in your dresser drawers. However, we highly recommend removing any delicate or breakable items from the drawers before moving.

We service the Franklin District like Pukekohe, Pokeno, and Waiuku. We also regularly service areas like North Shore, West Auckland, South Auckland, East Auckland like East Tamaki, Botany Downs, Pakuranga, and Bucklands Beach.

Our service area covers Cape Reinga to Wellington and everywhere in between in the North Island. We are also targeting areas like Napier, Hastings, Wanganui, and Thames. Easy Move Furniture Removals can also move you inter-island to places like the Great Barrier Island or Waiheke Island.

Yes, we can offer a secured storage facility available in a safe, dry, and monitored location in Manukau, Silverdale and Pukekohe, Auckland.

Moving day

If your moving date changes, please send us an email as soon as possible to discuss an alternative date. Booking an alternative date should not be a problem, provided we are not fully booked on the changed date.

Yes, we provide all the necessary tools, supplies, and equipment for a safe relocation.

You can make the payment through online banking from the invoice or Cash Internet Banking. You can also pay through Visa or Mastercard on completion of the job. If you will be using our storage facility, you would need to make the payment before unloading into the storage unit.

You will need to make the deposit 7 days before your move.
