How Office Relocations Works in Auckland

Most office moves are completed within one day but it depends on things like office size and the building access. Here's the step-by-step process from start to finish so you know exactly what happens.

We will provide an estimate quote based on office size, furniture volume pickup and delivery addresses. With bigger moves and tricky building access at different locations it will be good to have one of the team come and have a look over things. Most quotes are provided within the same business day.

2: Book Date

Book your preferred moving date. For complex moves requiring multiple trucks or extensive furniture volumes, schedule 2-4 weeks ahead. For standard office relocations, 1-2 weeks notice typically works. Evening after 6pm and weekend moves scheduled by arrangement.

3: Move Day

The Moving team will try to arrive on time, but as you know the traffic is ridiculous in Auckland so we do try our best to be on time. Furniture is disassembled if needed to be taking in lifts or to get down the stairs, items are then loaded into the trucks then moved to the new location. Everything is then unloaded and furniture reassembled. You will need to have yourself or someone directing the guys to were the office equipment to go.

4: Final Check

The last and final part is doing a walk through to confirm all items and Office Furniture are in the correct places and positioned correctly. Any concerns or adjustments we can sort this before we leave.

5: Follow Up

What's NOT Included in Office Shifts

IT Setup and Reconnection — We move computers, monitors, and equipment physically. We don’t provide cable reconnection, network configuration, software installation, or server setup. Your IT staff or IT contractor handles these technical services.

Building Coordination — You or your building manager arrange elevator bookings, loading dock access, and parking spots at both Office locations. This ensures moves happen on your scheduled date.

Insurance — We take care during Moving. You will need to sort your own insurance for office contents and equipment.

Server Installation — Server and network infrastructure setup requires your IT specialists to do this.

Waste Removal — Disposal of old furniture or equipment can be arranged with the move.
