We are currently taking on more work across Auckland. We’re looking for experienced Owner Drivers with experience and know what they are doing.
Easy Move will work with drivers who will show up on time and do the job properly.
You will be dealing with the customers directly, so it is important you present well, stay professional on-site, and keep your truck clean and organised. Most of the work involves shifting household items, but may include offices, internal moves, and relocations into storage.
A well-maintained truck suitable for Furniture Removals
Physically fit and able to lift heavy items with care
Confident dealing with customers and representing the brand
Honest, reliable, and on time to every job
Able to follow booking instructions and keep in contact throughout the day
Presentable appearance and straightforward communication
Knowledge of safe loading and unloading
Willing to handle both short and full-day jobs depending on schedule
You’ll be responsible for running your own truck while working under the Easy Move Furniture Removals name. Jobs are booked in advance and sent through by dispatch.
You’ll be expected to:
Arrive on time, ready to work
Load and unload all items safely
Follow job notes and special instructions
Communicate clearly with the customer
Check that all items are accounted for at pick-up and drop-off
Take care of furniture in transit
Keep your truck clean inside and out
Ongoing contract work available
Flexible hours and job locations
Good support from dispatch and admin
Steady work for reliable drivers
Most drivers get repeat jobs and full weeks booked in advance
You can take the truck home if parked securely
